Bayern Munich 2017-18 Adidas Home Kit

Bayern Munich revealed the new Adidas home kit for the 2017/18 season which draws inspiration from one of the most iconic shirts in the club’s history, a jersey worn by the likes of Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoeness and Gerd Müller in the successful period of the 70’s.

The new kit pays homage to the past while being brought into the future thanks to technical, breathable fabrics and mesh engineering.

The predominantly red jersey features thin, vertical white stripes alongside the classic adidas three stripes on the shoulder. FC Bayern’s motto “Mia San Mia” – roughly translating to “We know where we come from, who we are and what we aim for” – features on the reverse of the kit. The kit will be seen on the field for the first time when FC Bayern Munich face FC Freiburg on May 20th.

The shirt doesn't look like it belongs with the shorts?

Why outline the sponsor logo with black? It draws attention to it and not the actual jersey. Leaving it while would have worked perfectly. Not the best kit from Bayern but could have been made better by not outlining the sponsor :(

The three stripes on the shoulders don't quite work on this - it looks too busy.

the adidas 3 stripes could be printed into the material just (as the candy stripes) that way sleeve badges can be stuck on top.

Real nice retro style, when footy headlines leaked this shirt ages ago people were moaning about it,I can't see why, inspired by the early 70's shirt in my opinion the best they've had in years.
