4 new spurs 125 years kits 07/08 made by puma

The Club marks its 125th Anniversary next season with the launch of a range of kits, all inspired by colours and designs worn earlier in our history .

We will contest the 2007/2008 league and cup competitions with a new home, away and third strip from PUMA, all of which have echoes of various First Team shirts from previous decades. The First Team will also contest one game at White Hart Lane with a Special Edition 125 Anniversary Kit to mark the special occasion itself.

The new home kit underlines the Club’s lilywhite heritage by featuring white shirt, white shorts and white socks. Running throughout the weave of the home shirt is a special jacquard, reading Tottenham Hotspur 125 Years 1882-2007. The second and third strip will be all navy blue and all yellow respectively. Meanwhile, the Special Edition 125 Anniversary Kit is a blue and white halved shirt with white shorts.

The first pictures of the new strips for 2007/08 can be seen EXCLUSIVELY in 91 magazine published on Saturday 12th May.In the late 70’s when the likes of Joe Wark, Willie Pettigrew and Bobby Graham were strutting their stuff on the hallowed turf at Fir Park, the training and playing kit was manufactured by Bukta.


Motherwell Kit Manager, Alan McDonald even has an original Bukta training shirt worn by Joe Wark hanging proudly in his office to this day. In those days Motherwell F.C. were among many of the UK’s top teams to wear Bukta clothing. Bukta kit was also worn by West Ham, Newcastle and Ajax with a team that included Johan Cruyff.

This will see Vandanel Retail operate the club shop on behalf of the football club and comes after a successful first season of Vandanel being the club's kit manufacturer.

"This deal should see a much bigger and more varied range of stock available for supporters", said Chairman David Cardoza.

Manufactured by Puma, the club's technical kit supplier, the home strip is in the traditional red shirt, white short and red socks combination

City will play in black shirts, white shorts and black socks away from Ashton Gate, to minimise a colour clash with other Championship sides.

Priced GBP 40 adults sizes, GBP 35 ladies and GBP 30 juniors, the new shirts will be available in the following sizes: small boys-XXXL plus ladies.

The club colours are traditionally blue and white stripes, which have been brought back for the 2006/07 season after being scrapped for the 2005/06 season. The club is set to move to a purpose built stadium which they will share with Nuneaton Rugby Club. Boro's local rivals include Hinckley United, Bedworth United, Atherstone Town, Tamworth, and Coventry City. After the club announced a six-figure sponsorship deal with housing company Bloor Homes last year, which was meant to be the biggest sponsorship deal in the club's history, following with a sponsorship by Stuart Plumbing & Heating Supplies in 06/07.

Nuneaton have announced that the sponsors for the 2007/08 season will be simply bathroom.

The club play at Manor Park which is located in Beaumont Road, Nuneaton. The ground has three stands, the Cock & Bear end which is named after the public house just outside the ground is where the supporters gather and create a lot of noise and atmosphere. The Main Stand is the seated area at the ground and contains 500 seats. The Canal Side is named after the Coventry Canal which flows past behind it and is where the away supporters are positioned when segregation is in place. The club are set to move to a new stadium at the end of the 2006/07 season which they will share with Nuneaton Rugby Club. The new 5,000 capacity ground at Liberty Way will be built in three phases, and is due to be completed in 2009.

The kit, along with a new training kit range will be made available for sale in the Club Shop from July 2007.

Tottenham may have accidentally given their fans a preview of their new home shirt before officially unveiling it later this month.
