Charlton Athletic and hummel have agreed a five-year partnership which will see hummel supply bespoke kits for Charlton's first team and academy teams, the award-winning Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) and Charlton women’s team, as well as a range of leisurewear.

As part of the deal, which begins at the start of the 2017/18 season, hummel will work with Charlton fans on a special home kit to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the club’s return to The Valley. Charlton and hummel will ask each of the club’s official fan groups to nominate one member to join them at The Valley for workshops on the kit’s design.

Barcelona have announced a long-term contract extension with kit manufacturers Nike that will see the Catalan giants make at least 155m euros (£140m) a season from 2018.

Delegate members approved the renewal and extension of the sponsorship agreement with Nike, which was set to end in 2018 and has now been extended by ten years - the initial five and then five more which are extendable - until 30 June 2028. The vote saw 584 in favour, ten against and nine blank.

Chelsea have confirmed they have signed a new kit deal with Nike, which is believed to be worth an estimated £60m a season for the next 15 years.

The long-term agreement will see Nike become the official kit supplier beginning with the 2017/18 season. Nike will produce strips for the first team, Academy and Ladies teams, as well as a full range of clothing for Chelsea’s millions of supporters around the world.

The German Football Association (DFB) and adidas officially announced the extension of their long-term partnership worth nearly £40million a year. 

Adidas's current contract with the German Football Federation to produce the world-renowned white and black jerseys is worth around £20million a year. With US competitor Nike keen to snatch away the prestigious contract as part of a global football push, German manufacturer Adidas was forced to substantially up the stakes for the new four-year deal which will begin in 2018.

The Central Coast Mariners announced that Umbro have signed on as the Club’s official kit supplier for at least the next two Hyundai A-League seasons.

The iconic football apparel, footwear and equipment brand will supply the Central Coast Mariners official team wear until at least the end of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season.

Burnley Football Club signed a record, multi-million-pound deal to have online gaming company Dafabet as their official shirt sponsor. 

Dafabet have signed a two-year deal and will have their name on all adult home and away shirts, for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. 

Southampton Football Club announced a three-year shirt sponsorship deal with Virgin Media.

It will see the UK’s award-winning TV and ultrafast broadband provider become the club’s official shirt sponsor from the start of the 2016-17 season, placing Virgin Media at the heart of English football.

FC Barcelona and Nike have extended their current sponsorship deal, which was due to end on 30 June 2018. The long-term agreement is a landmark in global football and builds upon a highly successful partnership.

Barcelona-based daily newspapers Diario Sport and Mundo Deportivo reported that the deal could be worth 155 million euros ($174 million) a season and would run until 2026. 

Watford FC announced that Dryworld has become the club’s Official Technical Partner on a three-year deal. 

From the 2016/17 season onwards, Dryworld – the world’s leading independent sportswear brand – will supply the Hornets’ playing kit, replica kit and training wear. 

Blackburn Rovers and Umbro have announced a five-year technical kit and sportswear partnership which will kick off at the start of the 2016-17 season. 

The double diamond of Umbro will once again adorn all on-pitch products for Rovers’ mens, ladies and Academy teams, as well as training and leisurewear for both players and fans.
