This classic black third design was not worn to this specification in this season, it was only used once with an Astra sponsor in the second half of the campaign. This was the last season that Lotto manufactured kits for the club after 5 years with Adidas taking over in '98. Bogarde went on to pick up a La Liga and Copa del Rey double in this season at the Nou Camp while Milan slumped to a shock 10th place finish.
