well..the northern rock sponsorship really didnt cause me to lose sleep..but now my worst fear has been confirmed.. Newcastle United and Puma have signed a two year kit deal from 2010/11 season. Meaning next season we will definately be getting a new home and away kit. Personally I feel sad because Newcastle and adidas have been together for so long that they seem a pair. I remember the 1st adidas kit was the grandad collared shirt. The one in which Newcastle nearly won the title in 1996. Will miss adidas. Now we have Puma. The thing I hate most about Puma is they tend to use the same template with a lot of teams. But saying that, I am interested what Puma will do with striped shirts especially Newcastle. But hate their three logos on the shirts. One would be enough. Lets wait and see.
