West Brom Albion have struck their second one-game shirt sponsorship deal - after teaming up with Victor Chandler.

The online gaming company sponsored the Club's shirts for last Friday's televised Hawthorns clash with promotion-rivals Nottingham Forest (ko 7.45pm).

It ment that Victor Chandler's brand appeared on both sets of shirts during the live Sky Sports clash, as they are also Forest's principal sponsors.

Victor Chandler are the second company to take advantage of the ground-breaking match-by-match shirt sponsorship deals Albion are able to offer in the Football League. Blue Square became the first for last month's home game against QPR.

Albion's Finance Director, Mark Jenkins, said: "We are delighted to have teamed up with Victor Chandler for Friday's game.

"There cannot have been too many occasions when a company has sponsored the shirts of two opposing teams and we are looking forward to announcing similar deals with other interested parties for future games."

Victor Chandler, chairman, said: "I am delighted we have reached agreement with West Bromwich Albion so the Victor Chandler name will be carried by both teams on Friday evening.

"Albion and Forest are having fantastic seasons and although West Brom enter the match as odds-on favourites I'll have to sit on the fence and predict a draw!"

Albion have received considerable interest since announcing in late November they were ready to open talks with companies about single or multiple game shirt sponsorship deals.

For the second season running, the team have been playing in unsponsored shirts as the Club's search for a suitable, long-term, official sponsor continues.

However, after receiving clarification from the Football League, Albion can offer businesses and organisations the unique opportunity to sponsor their shirt on a match-by-match basis.

With two further forthcoming Baggies games to be screened live on TV, this is the perfect time for other companies to open talks with the Club about having their brand broadcast to a worldwide audience.

Albion will again be live on Sky when they travel to Newcastle on Monday, January 18. The game at Bristol City on Sunday, February 21 will also be broadcast by the BBC.

The Club are also ready to open talks about single or multiple-game shirt sponsorship deals for their 21 other remaining Coca-Cola Championship fixtures.

Albion have only been able to offer short-term shirt sponsorship deals this season as they are not permitted under Premier League rules.

Looks okay, but the background color should match the team's dark stripes.
