Special Man City shirt design for derby unveiled

Manchester City has unveiled the shirts that the team will wear in this Sunday’s derby at Old Trafford.

Kit supplier Le Coq Sportif and shirt sponsor Thomas Cook have waived their rights to branding for the match, with the outfield and goalkeeper's shirts being a special one-off design. Both the Blues and our opponents have agreed to wear shirts without branding as part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster.

Joe Hart and Micah Richards are pictured in the kit, which will not be made available for sale.

I Gotta say they are excellent, if only sponsors were removed from all kits, those were the days! A brilliant way to mark the ssad occasion, just hope the match is a fitting tribute.
