Clube Atlético Mineiro was founded on March 25, 1908 by 22 middle-class boys from Belo Horizonte. To celebrate their centenary year Atlético Mineiro launched their new home and away 08/09 Centenary football shirts made by lotto. The launch took place on the evening of Tuesday, at a large event in the Club Labareda.
In his speech, president Ziza Valadares said " Fiat, the Lotto and FPT are investing in Atlético because recognise the strength and fanaticism of our fans, the most passionate of Brazil. I hope that this new shirt brings us luck."
