Barcelona 08/09 Away nike football shirt

Barcelona unveiled their new away Nike shirt for the 2008-09 season.

While the home shirt mirrors the 1999 jersey, the away top pays homage to the team of 1974. Next season's away colours for the team will be a bright yellow with a blaugrana stripe down the side that the crest of the club is on.

In order to try and avoid forgeries and fakes finding their way into unsuspecting customers' hands this year, Nike have introduced a label in the lower left side of the garment that is a technological innovation that can tell whether the shirt is genuine or not. Club president Joan Laporta was present for the presentation of all the new kits along with some directors, and Nike executive Albert Baronet.

Yes, it is made in Indonesia with me as the designer. I\'ve been working for Nike Indonesia since 1 years ago, and I\'ve designed some nice shirts, for examples MU black away shirt last season n Celtic, Valencia home shirts this season. I also design Juve n Inter shirts for this season, but I\'m not allowed to show them to you just yet. I guess the leak will come out soon though

awesome kit. Much better than the home one. It reminds me of the USA jersey from the 2006 world cup with the vertical stripe.

I quite like this shirt!
Barca\'s last few away kits haven\'t been very nice but I really like this one.
One of the few nice Nike kits that we\'ll be seeing next season!

It seems that Nike have two different design teams - one for Barca home and another for Barca away!!! ;-)

Sack the homies - let \'em get jobs with Spall or Matchwinner - and give creative control to the away geniuses who came up with this inspired effort! :D

This away kit is amazing. It is perfect compared to everybody else\'s jerseys. Way better than the home jersey. I can\'t wait to see messi run around people in that.

Very nice indeed. Even in a bright blue or Black I think this design would look class.

I swear their must be different teams over at Nike for the EPL and La Liga clubs. The EPL was sub-par this season but between this kit (the home could use some work) and the Valencia kitsm I think they\'re doing top work for the Spanish. Love it! Shame I can\'t stand Barca though.
