This is the new Ivory Coast 08/09 and Africa Cup 2008 home shirt made by Puma. The sportswear company act as technical supplier to Angola, Cameroon, Morocco, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo, Egypt and Tunisia, half of the 16-team field at the tournament that runs from January 20 to February 10.
The shirt is part of PUMA’s v1.08 collection that will be launched globally in January 2008, featuring lightweight moisture-wicking materials, mesh layers and welded-technology in its performance apparel pieces.
Each team has a new shirt, which features anatomically placed seams for superior aerodynamics, as well as ergonomically placed stretch insert 'flex bow' for ideal freedom of movement.

The inner mesh layer includes small holes and is hydrophilic – thereby absorbing water and wicking away a player’s sweat, while the outer layer provides the ideal smooth surface to print the player names and numbers.
