Partick Thistle unveiled their new home kit for the 2008-2009 season made by Puma. Bearing a new badge, marketed by their retail partners Greaves Sports and, for the first time, manufactured by Puma, the strip is in our traditional red & yellow colours but is significantly different from previous versions.
It will be given its debut today when the Jags play their final game of the season. Another reason to get along to Firhill for what, with so much at stake for our guests and Ian McCall wanting his men to go out on a high, will be a very competitive match.
The more eagle-eyed reader will note that for the first time in three decades, the strip does not carry a sponsor’s name, but rest assured that this is only because Resolution Asset Management – committed to supporting Thistle for at least a further two years - are about to change their name and have yet to confirm their new identity.
