    I think it\'s a trade off.
The 3 stripes are the most envied detail in sports history..
Many other kit suppliers tried to create new charachteristic formats, but no one reached the incredible brand awareness provided by the 3 stripes.
It\'s also true that this could also be a cage..Adidas models will always be similar year by year..while Nike and all the others are free to experience every year totally new ideas..like Nike\'s arrows in 2002,Puma\'s back bow in 2006 or Lotto spiky tips in the same year..
But I think that all the others kit suppliers would like to have lack of freedom, to be owners of something so special like the three stripes.

Another minor example of a strong awareness provider is the kappa kombat fit models.Kappa shirts are almost the same from 2000,but everyone is aware of a kappa shirt just looking at the fit.

I think Niko\'s got it right. It\'s a perennial problem with adidas - their three stripes are so central to their design, they either go way over the top and put too much frippery in the strip, or each kit looks like the last, getting generally duller and blander. It was a big problem with their last three Manchester United strips. Nike don\'t always get it right - their strips in the 2002 world cup were appalling - but what they do have is design flexibility.

Look closely at the home picture--there aren\'t grey hoops on the kit, those are a lighting artifact. The blinds were probably down over windows across from the wall the kit is hanging on or something. You can tell because the bands extend across the whole image, not just the shirts, and nor do they follow the angle of the shirt, which is hanging slightly at an angle.

Away shirt is terrible,as usual for Real Madrid.
Home shirt is very simple..I only like the the black stripe on the collar but I think it could be much better with purple stripes instead of black ones.
Nowadays shirt is better than next one.
Am I wrong or home shirts has also some light grey loops?

the away shirt is nice, the home one is good but i prefer the home and away shirts for this season though.
I always think Real Madrid home shirts look better with purple stripes rather than black. :-)

Although I find these shirts looking better than the current shirts, I still don\'t think they are very interesting. The white shirt could might as well have been an A/C Milan away shirt.
Looks like the keeper shirt is gonna have 3/4 sleeves, which could be pretty cool(I assume that the yellow shirt in the last picture is the goalie shirt.
