The online sports equipment retailer SC24.com has signed on as FC Augsburg's new main sponsor starting with the upcoming 2009/10 season. The sponsoring package brokered by SPORTFIVE gives the company numerous attractive advertising rights tying in to the second-league football team. In addition to jersey ads to be worn by the team, SC24.com will also create attention for itself with measures including on-cam perimeter hoardings and numerous other advertising measures in the stadium and related to FCA. A VIP box in the new impuls arena rounds off the sponsorship package. The cooperation was initially agreed until 30 June 2010, with the option to extend for another year.

Markus Müller, CEO of SC24.com AG, said: "Being the main sponsor of FC Augsburg will considerably increase the renown of the SC24.com brand across Germany and also position us regionally as an important partner to a much-loved club. We greatly look forward to the cooperation."

Andreas Rettig, Managing Director of FC Augsburg, emphasises: "We are delighted about the important addition of SC24.com to our pool of sponsors. FCA has been undergoing a very positive development for years and is increasingly getting a lot of attention from the German football public. As our new main sponsor, SC24.com will be able to benefit from this and have a strong presence at our new impuls arena."

"We were able to arrange a sponsorship package that brings both parties ahead considerably in attaining their goals. The prominently placed jersey ads and the on-cam ads on perimeter hoardings will allow the new main sponsor to give its SC24.com brand a superb presence on the emotional stage of Bundesliga football," adds SPORTFIVE’s team director in Augsburg, Andreas Heim.

The away kit is different for sure and it\'s growing on me. I think it would look better without the white collar. A simple round neck would look sleaker. Fitting a sponsor\'s logo without spoiling the intended look could be difficult.

ahhhhhh!!!!!! anotther secretion by do you football!!! no way dude, it\'s got to be a joke. first the bochum shirt and now this turd. I bet they\'re trying to get a grip on the market by producing \"innovative\" kits; yet, this whole plan is a textbook cluster**** with a shirt like that. let me put this straight: many of their shirts seem pretty decent, including the first one here, but they always mess things up somewhere. seriously, a ****ing A on the shirt???? you\'ve got to a be total douche to wear, let alone buy, this thing!!!!!

I\'m giving big thumbs up to Do You for at least being innovation, and I think mostly with success.

That away kit reminds me of the underside of the Angel Interceptor jet in \'Captain Scarlet\'! A bit crap for a shirt.

That away kit is just totally daft, not just because of the big massive \"A\" on it, but the amount of white makes it very superfluous given the amount of white on the home kit.

i have to admit that i do really like the away kit. its probably because i am into typography so... but in a way it isn\'t to bad in a design sense anyway. different.

The home top is really nice. But then the away top comes out and ruins it all.

 maybe the designer thought Augsburg, Away - let\'s put a huge A on it.

Well...2 white shirts...the idea of which genius is that!? And that \"A\" on the away shirt is pretty ugly...and the collar really looks cheap. Let\'s see how the away shirt will work with the sponsor logo, I think this print will make the kit even worse! The home kit is really nice!
