QPR 09/10 Home Lotto Kit

Queens Park Rangers Football Club revealed the new 09/10 home kit made by Lotto.

The strip, which will be worn by the R's First Team in our final home fixture of the season against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 25th April, features the iconic Blue and White Hoops, and - back by popular demand - the symbolic white shorts.

Club Captain Martin Rowlands is a huge advocate of the new kit and told the club website: "The Blue and White Hoops are the iconic image of QPR and the designers have got it spot on with this new kit.

"Lotto have done a fantastic job with the materials and the cut of the shirt and I'm sure the fans will be as delighted as all the players are with the new design."

Striker Rowan Vine echoed Rowlands' sentiments, commenting: "The players love the new home kit.

"The home shirt is symbolic of Queens Park Rangers Football Club, with the Hoops on show, and the lads love the white shorts too, so we're glad they're back.

"We're all really looking forward to wearing the new kit for the first time against Plymouth later this month."

Deputy Managing Director, Ali Russell, said: "It has been a pleasure working with Lotto Sport Italia in developing these new designs. I would personally like to thank them for becoming more and more involved and impactful as the Official Technical Sponsor and Supplier of Queens Park Rangers Football Club.

"Last year, under extremely tight deadlines, Lotto Sport Italia worked exceptionally hard to help us design a new, modern and fashionable kit, integrating our new sponsors and Club crest. This time we were able spend more time on some of the finer details of the shirt and ensure our sponsors have maximum stand out on the design."

The new home jersey retains the traditional hoops in reflex blue and white, but this year, the Lotto Sport Italia logo is positioned at the top centre of the jersey, with the QPR Club Crest situated half an inch below. The Gulf Air logo is now placed within the blue hoops, matching the signage around Loftus Road.

Gulf Air's Director of Marketing, Jon Barnett, said: "We have worked closely with QPR to enhance Gulf Air's visibility, both in the stadium and also on the new kit, and we are delighted with the results.

"Gulf Air is proud to be the shirt sponsor and official airline partner of QPR and wishes the Club and the players every success for the remainder of the season and indeed for the forthcoming campaign."

The new home shirt is available for pre-order today, and in the QPR Superstore from Saturday 25th April 2009.

Really really nice. I love it when a sponsor is very unassuming and just blends in seamlessly with the shirt.

I think that shirt is not that bad as some of you say, maybe if it had more blue than white it would look a better. And about the badge, when i first heard about QPR they already had this badge and when I first saw it i thought \"that\'s a very nice badge, it has nice colours and shapes and has a lot of character\". And recently I saw the old QPR badge and I think that\'s the ugly one, it was TOO simple and dull IMO and looked like a Football Conference team badge.

many people don\'t like it because it\'s Lotto, simple as that...they are easily influenced by the brand. If there was a Puma or Umbro badge on the same shirt comments would have surely been different. A third colour on the uniform in small amount is always good, as long it goes well with the other two colours (and red surely goes well with white and blue!!). See Arsenal (red-white-black), Juventus(white-black-yellow) or Rangers(blue-white-red) for some examples...In addition the grey lines on top of the shirt are amazing. Plus, believe it or not, Lotto technology in terms of materials used is second to no one, just get informed...

Another awful shirt from Lotto, this one has the horrid looking huge logos ruining the kit, and the badge is awful. the last one was one of the best in the business, and they go and change it? why do a fulham and replace a great badge with a crap one, its not like the council was charging them to use it. The grey trim on the shirt also looks ugly as well.

To be honest I quite like the order the kit manufacture logo and the badge have been placed in the centre, the lotto logo under the horizontal part of the collar fits well...

The shirt itself isn\'t that bad, but I have to agree that Lotto appear to just slap logos and crests on at random and with no cosideration to colour clash, which turns what could have been a decent looking shirt into a bit of a mess

Looks quite good but not sure about all that white on the back of the shirt. As usual the Lotto logo looks ridiculous and spoils what is actually a decent looking shirt.
