The Hannover 96 players will be allowed to keep the 'No1' tribute to Robert Enke on their shirts for the remainder of the Bundesliga season, the German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed.
"We would like to thank the DFB board for handing our request in such a sensitive and non-bureaucratic manner," said 96 sporting director Jörg Schmadke.
The team are said to be pleased at the decision and also wish to express their gratitude to those responsible at the DFB.

In memory of Robert Enke
The Hannover 96 players sported the subtle tribute to their deceased friend and colleague Robert Enke against Schalke 04 last weekend.
The idea came from Steven Cherundolo and was met by a positive reaction from the rest of the squad.
After the match, the 96 players decided they would like to continue the tribute throughout the rest of the Bundesliga campaign in honour of Robert, and their wishes were quickly met with approval by those at the DFB.
