This is the new Shamrock Rovers Home kit that will be worn by the team in their first game in their new stadium in Tallaght in West Dublin on Friday night.
Shamrock Rovers, Irelands most successful club have been renting stadia since their famous old ground Milltown was sold over 20 years ago.

On a 'back to the future' theme, the new home jersey will have full hoops all around the shirt. Unlike previous years, there will be no white panel on the back of the shirt. Lettering on the lower back of the jersey remembering Milltown is a special touch added by the Umbro team that links the last time we played at 'home' in Hoops with the first time in our new home as the Rovers team will wear the new strip in Friday's first match in tallaght.

We have paid homage to the old ground with some text on the rear of the shirt and we have tried to keep the design “Classic Rovers Hoops” for their first season in a new home. I would like to wish the board, the fans and everyone involved with the club all the best in the years ahead and roll on Friday…and Wednesday for the kit launch, keep on hooping”
The first game in Tallaght Stadium against Sligo Rovers at 8pm on Friday will finally see “the Hoops” coming home and the game is already sold out.
The new UMBRO home jersey will go on sale on Wednesday 18th March at 1pm, exclusively through UMBRO outlets; at the brand new Umbro Football Supporters Store at Tallaght Stadium (opening this Friday) and from the UMBRO FAI store on Westmorland Street in Dublin City centre.
