Steaua Bucharest presented the new kits made by Nike for the 2009-2010 season, at a press conference held at the Stadionul Steaua.
Steaua players Sorin Ghionea, Petre Marin and Banel Nicola launched the kits which are made exclusively for the football team of Steaua Bucharest. Materials used for equipment includes the latest technology especially created for Nike athletes.

In developing the new design, Nike has kept the traditional colours, red and blue, but for the first time the shirt will have 5 stripes. Another novelty in the new season is that the team will have a third kit, which will most likely be used in the Romanian Cup matches.
Nike has already become a traditional partner of Steaua, extending the partnership with the 1st team, second team and the entire youth department.
