Don't forget that 2002 shirt had the dual layer mesh in the middle of the shirt while every other country with that template had it as side panels. It was also complimented by a darker Japanese symbol over the top of it, the same symbol which Japan wears on all their goalkeeper shirts. So it wasn't that simple, but simple in the way it didn't have flames, water, claws or rising sun effects.

Japan have often played in a nice plain kit, and it looks nice, the understated option. this looks much better than some of the shirt the Japanese have had in the past. The world cup 2002 one was my fave shirt, so it could work as a Japan shirt.

All cleared up, people are d*c*s for posting unrelated stuff here.

Decent Japan just a little bit too plain to be one of their shirts in my opinion, they always have something a little bit special worked into them, and I just can't see that with this.
