"We have built up an excellent rapport with these organisations and are looking forward to working with them during the course of the next 12 months."
During the last 12 months, thanks to the hard work and effort of NHS Walsall, Walsall FC and the Hospice, a large number of events and fundraising activities have taken place in order to ensure that Walsall has a hospice of its own.

"For everyone involved in the palliative care centre development, this is a very exciting time," said Denise McLellan, Chief Executive of NHS Walsall. "After a long wait, the building is now taking shape and is just a few months from completion. We are delighted by the support this development continues to receive from local people.
"Our relationship with Walsall FC has also helped us to engage with fans, players and staff as part of our efforts to encourage everyone in our community to make the best use of their local health services, and be aware of the things they can do for themselves to improve their chance of leading a longer, healthier life."
The three organisations have joined forces to organise a host of events including charity football matches, a Santa Hat Day, bucket shakes and a masquerade ball.
The club also donated £1 from every 2009/10 replica shirt sold and are happy to announce that this will once again be the case during the 2010/11 campaign.
Building work for the new NHS Walsall palliative care centre is currently underway and is expected to be completed by November and open early in 2011.
It will provide care for people within Walsall who have life limiting illnesses and will also provide support for their families and carers.
"We are delighted by the continued support of Walsall Football Club through their shirt sponsorship and other activities," added Walsall Hospice Head of Fundraising, Cheryl Bradburne. "We are particularly grateful during this critical year for Walsall Hospice, as the new hospice is coming near to completion. We wish Walsall FC the best of luck for the coming season, and look forward to working with them again this year."
The new look kits are on now on sale from both the Town Centre Shop, Bradford Street Arcade, Walsall and the Banks's Stadium Club Shop.
