Portsmouth 11/12 Kappa Away Football Shirt

Portsmouth 11-12 kappa away football shirt

This is the new Portsmouth FC 2011/12 away kit made by Kappa. The shirt – which is black with a blue trim – will first be worn when the Blues take on Chelsea in a pre-season friendly at Fratton Park on Saturday, July 16.

The back of the neck bears the legend "Zeal Does Not Rest" - the motto of HMS Ark Royal since 1921, which has its origins in Lord Howard of Effingham's victory over the Spanish Armada in 1588. The shirt features white Omini logos to both shoulders.

uhm... different size for stripes on chest and sleeves could be an idea, but i prefer Inter shirts with more than 2 black stripes only...
It's very similar to many other shirts in the past, but it's not so easy to be innovative when teams have such an old tradition. however it's a good kit: it hasn't that horrible white neck of 2 years ago and small sponsor is nice (I'-) remove sponsor from the most of shirts!), but - unfortunsately - anachronistic. 7/10
