Club América, also known as the Aguilas (“Eagles”), is one of Mexico’s oldest and best supported club teams with 10 national titles to their name. The club unveiled their new Nike kit at a recent game against Rayados of Monterrey at Azteca Stadium on January 5.
Featuring Nike’s latest design innovation and materials, the new kit combines rich club insights through bold color details and insignia. A distinctive “V” shaped jersey design features blue, yellow and red colors associated with the team and a winning “victory” mentality. The crest badge on the chest features a striking CA graphic and Swoosh. White shorts and socks complete the kit and give it a clean and sophisticated look.

The kits are made out of 23 percent lighter fabric with a 20 percent stronger knit structure than Nike’s previous kits. Nike Dri-FIT technology wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep athletes cool and dry on-pitch.
Ventilation zones consist of a series of small laser-cut holes from the bottom of the arms to the waist to help regulate the temperature and allow air to circulate to keep the players comfortable.
The kits have bonded re-enforced T-bar junctions that support critical seams on the shirt and shorts and inner welded seams with a flat finish construction to improve comfort and performance.
The new home kit is made from Nike’s groundbreaking recycled polyester, making it Nike’s most environmentally friendly kit ever produced. Each kit (shirt and shorts) is made using up to 13 recycled plastic water bottles. This innovative manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30 percent compared to manufacturing traditional polyester.
