West Ham United is delighted to unveil the club's new Macron away kit for the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season, which will be available here.

The new kit is at the cutting edge of design but made to measure for comfort as well as style. The shirt offers a classic navy V-neck with an asymmetrical claret and blue design and a crossed hammer detail for a clean and classic look. Further detailing is provided by the 'West Ham United' stitching on the back of the collar.

Fans can choose to personalise their shirts at purchase with names and numbers and also once again add on the Premier League badges to show with pride the fact the Hammers are back in the most exciting league in the world.

Following fans' feedback at the club's Supporter Advisory Board, the new away shirt has also been designed so it is 'Moore than just a football kit'. It is more a piece of leisurewear that supporters will feel equally as comfortable wearing with a pair of jeans and trainers for day out as wearing to the Boleyn Ground to roar on the Hammers. With big sporting events taking place in east London and in eastern Europe over the coming months, the new away shirt will be the perfect accessary for any fan wanting to show their passion for the Hammers this summer.

Captain Kevin Nolan and Hammer of the Year Mark Noble joined Carlton Cole, James Tomkins and Matt Taylor as they become the first players to try on the new kit at a special photoshoot at the club's Chadwell Heath training ground.

As they tried on the kit for size, the players also gave the design and feel of the new kit a massive thumbs-up. The quintet confessed that wearing the new navy shirt even more excited about playing in the Premier League next season.

Nolan said: "I always feel tremendous pride when pulling on my shirt before I go out to play for the team. It is one of the final things we do before we go out, it is like 'Here we go now, we are ready to go out there to try and get that result.'

"I hope our supporters will enjoy the same sense of pride when putting on the shirt, whether that is wearing it for leisure or when coming to watch us play."

The launch of Macron's third West Ham away shirt - the first navy away kit for three years - comes on the back of the Italian sportswear company producing the club's best-selling shirts in the last decade. Macron always strives to guarantee the highest quality in its kits, which is why West Ham United fans who buy the new away shirt will be wearing exactly the same shirt as the players will be this season in the Premier League.

On the guest above, most of what he said is total s*i*. I do think that jealously plays a part, in that they see the pride that the Stoke City fans have in the club, and the way they seriously get behind the team (last season, nobody in English Football had a better 12th man than Stoke, and apart from the idiot who threw something at Steven Taylor when the toon visited, and some trouble at the West Ham game, they were fantastic) and are envious at the way they get behind the team, and see the "support" that some of the fans of other clubs give their team (Aston Villa fans booing their best players, Arsenal booing Eboue, and the toon army booing a Geordie ONTO the pitch). JB, I think thats one of the reasons for all the negativity against Stoke. If it was about football, then why not all the negativity against Bolton?

So, Stoke has problems. So what, every city in the world has them.

On the kit, reminds me of a San Jose earthquakes kit from the early nineties, but theres nothing wrong with that. The colours too are like the ones used by the Stoke team in the early days too.

its just the commitment to hating stoke. surely you can understand that stoke is possibly the worst place on earth as well as having inbred c*a*s as there highest class residence. its funny how people that like the place try to make out that the place is like a upper class place and if anything bad said about it they are "jealous" your all so deluded and i find it quite amusing.

That is ridiculously sad, someone is that jealous that Stoke get away with 'ruining the game' that they voted 30 times

Very nice indeed-I like the blue as well it's a nice deviation from what Stoke City would normally wear. Top class as always Zoran.

I don't want to use all black, the blue is from the crest. It's just a little experiment. Glad you like it

My favourite of the three, very interesting colours for a Stoke change kit, but very nice and classy, I would not hesitate to buy this, 9.8/10
