“Adidas have hit the spot for me, the shirt really suits us and the fans will be happy too,” commented Bender on the new home kit with black and red being the dominant colours. The look is rounded off with alternative stitching on the sleeves and “Werkself” sewn into the collar.
Lars Bender and Stefan Kießling joined skipper Simon Rolfes, Daniel Carvajal, Bernd Leno and Gonzalo Castro on a photo shoot for the new fan item catalogue for next season. As Bayer 04 are currently waiting for a main sponsor for the 2013/14 campaign, there is no date set for the sale of the new home kit as yet. The new Bayer 04 Leverkusen away kit will be launched at the start of the new season.
