"One of the great details is on the back we have the LA city crest that we've taken the middle part of the LA city flag and pulled that out and made it into a crest with 'Rebaño Angelino' as a way for them to communicate back to their fans," said adidas product manager Mike Walker.
That's "Angelino Flock," for those not in the know. It will appear just above the player names.
"The fabric that makes up the jersey has what we call a drop-needle fabric so it makes stripes out of that blue fabric," Walker continued. "So it looks like the traditional red-and-white rojiblanco stripes. But since it's an all-blue kit we wanted to have that tie-back to what they're most known for."
