They were arguably the most famous Philadelphia-area team before the Philadelphia Union team came about in 2010.
Now Union fans can also celebrate in the history of Bethlehem Steel FC with the new tertiary kits that were unveiled by the MLS club on Tuesday night at an event held at Xfinity Live as part of 2013 MLS Jersey Week.
To this day, people still know the Bethlehem Steel, who last played a game back in 1930. Their record five US Open Cups (tied with Maccabi Los Angeles), including four of the first six tournaments played, are etched in people's mind.

"We have a small felt 'B' that is traditionally something they would've done," said adidas product manager Mike Walker. "We've got the Bethlehem Steel FC logo and the years they were a team in the Philadelphia area. ... That's the foundation of soccer in the Philadelphia area that helped the Union kind of become what they are today."
To stay with the retro feel, the Union logo is embroidered and also has a vintage look.
"It's made of felt," Walker continued. "It's not all these high-tech materials that we use today, but the fabric of the jersey is still very much high tech."
