Rangers 13/14 Puma Football Kits

Rangers today officially unveiled the new PUMA home, away and third kits – sponsored by Blackthorn Cider - for Season 2013/14 at Murray Park.

In February, Rangers announced a five-year kit deal with the leading SportsLifestyle brand to become the official supplier and licensee of replica merchandise for the club and supporters were able to see the players in the kit for the first time today.

The new home kit – blue top featuring a red and white Puma King stripe graphic on the neck and two red contrast stripes on the body, white shorts with blue detail and a return to the traditional black and red socks - will be available to buy ahead of the Club’s opening Division 2 game of the season on Thursday 8 August.

The away kit –white with navy marl top with gold embroidery, navy shorts with gold crests and white socks with navy detail – will be available to buy on Thursday 5 September.

The third kit – black top with red flashes, black shorts with red piping and socks with red flashes - will be available to buy from Thursday 25 July.

The goalkeeper’s kit and change kits – which are yellow and red with marl details – will also be available to buy at a later date.

Rangers Chief Executive Craig Mather said: "PUMA are one of the world’s iconic lifestyle brands and we are delighted to unveil the new home, away and third kits with our summer signings at the training ground today.

"I have no doubt our supporters will be impressed with the design and quality of the new kits and this is just the start of our exciting five-year partnership with PUMA.

"Everyone associated with Rangers - players, sponsors, staff and fans - are relishing the season ahead and I am sure the new PUMA merchandise will be hugely successful.

"Today's kit reveal also marks the official launch of our partnership with Blackthorn Cider and we look forward to a positive and mutually beneficial campaign with Blackthorn and PUMA. This is just the beginning of our relationship with both commercial partners and we will work closely together throughout 2013/14."

Ruth How, Head of Sports Marketing for PUMA, added: "It is a privilege to be supplying kits to a club with the history of Rangers Football Club. We have put all of our experience and expertise into developing these kits and are delighted with the results. Rangers’ players and fans justifiably take a lot of pride in wearing the shirt and that was front of mind for us."

Paolo Mortarotti, Managing Director of The Shepton Mallet Cider Company, owners of Blackthorn Cider, said: "Blackthorn is immensely proud to partner with a club of the stature of Rangers. We believe our partnership will help deliver our ambitious growth plans for the brand and we look forward to working closely with the club and the supporters in what we believe will be a very successful season."

Rangers Supporters Liaison Manager Jim Hannah added: "The Rangers fans are eager to see the new PUMA kit and as ever their feedback is always welcome.

"Fans were instrumental in the design process for the 2013/14 kit, as they have been in previous seasons, and this will continue. We are all looking forward to the start of the new campaign and I am certain the new PUMA kit will prove popular with the fanbase."{jcomments off}

    Thanks cursvine, agree with you, Boca has verry nice kits.
    irish michael please be little patient, maybe in september will start. I'm intend to make different kit for each team, not to use 4-5 templates and make all the teams. It will be little harder, but I will try.

    It's very hard to make a rubbish kit with Boca's colours and this is no difference. Got to agree with everyone else that it looks fantastic.
