AS Monaco, who play in the French top flight, have announced a new kit deal with Nike, to last at least five years.
In announcing the new partnership, Monaco have also unveiled the new Nike Home shirt and kit for the 2014-15 season. The shirt is classically styled, with the famous Monégasque red and white diagonally divided halves, with white sleeves and a neat tailored collar.
The shirt has a neat tailored collar, and boasts a new club crest to symbolize a new era for AS Monaco.
While this new crest retains the red and white stripes from the Monaco flag and is topped with a crown to represent their proud status as a constitutional monarchy, the emblem now has a sharper design with a vibrant and brighter gold border.
The club’s initials of ASM have been replaced with AS Monaco FC to boldly state their identity.
The shorts and socks are also in the traditional white.
Monaco thanked outgoing manufacturer Macron for the recent partnership but Vadim Vasilyev, Vice President and CEO of AS Monaco, said that the association with Nike was "telling of [AS Monaco's] ambition" as they re-enter the Uefa Champions League.
