Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the Portuguese giants, recently released their Home shirt and kit, by adidas, for the 2014-15 season.
Ostensibly in the traditional red/white/red format, the new Benfica Home shirt actually uses tonality in shades of red to display a bold cross effect in the watermark, intersecting behind the club crest, with a V-neck collar and cuffs in the darker colour and further trim - adidas stripes and the adidas logo - in white. Home shirt sponsor MEO sees its logo rendered in white also.
The shorts, in white, are relatively understanded, whilst the new red socks also carry the cross effect - tying in with the shirt - and white tops.
