This is the current, and infamous, Borussia Dortmund Home football shirt and kit, by Puma, for the 2014-15 domestic German season.
In the famous yellow and black, this season’s effort features a diagonal stripe or “rung” effect on one side of the front and the opposite sleeve (to elbow length). This bold departure from previous styles has divided opinion but may be regarded as iconic should the season prove to be a success on the field. Further embellishment comes in the form of the crest, black Puma logos and the Evonik sponsor’s logo, in red, white and pink.
The long-sleeved version of the shirt has a plain yellow lower part - with a “tacked on” effect - designed to replicate the look of those players inclined to wear short-sleeved shirts over yellow baselayers.

To match the shirts, Dortmund have the option of black shorts and yellow-and-black hooped socks as first choice, with yellow shorts and black socks - or a combination of two from the four items - available as required, as with the Away kit.
