Australian A-League side Central Coast Mariners wore a pink kit in their 2-1 defeat to Wellington Phoenix on 18th October.
Produced by manufacturer Kappa, the design is largely plain with a V-neck collar, and carries the usual league logos and sponsors - with the addition of collaborator Brightfield Integrated Facilities Management's branding - and was carried, and retailed, to raise money for, and raise the profile of, the Australian Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon Day - specifically the Erina Community Health Centre.
The accompanying shorts and socks were also in pink and the base of the kit - perhaps with different logos - may be seen again this season as a goalkeeper version, as it is in a familiar colour for the Mariners' custodians.
