Charlton Athletic 14/15 Nike Away Football Shirt

Charlton Athletic have unveiled the club’s new away football shirt which will be worn during the 2014/15 Championship season.

The new away shirt, as modelled by members of the first team at Sparrows Lane on Thursday afternoon, features the logo of the University of Greenwich, whose new two-year partnership with the club was announced last month.

The charcoal away shirt features the latest materials from Nike and features a three-panelled design and, as with the new home strip, will feature the logo of new sponsor Mitsubishi Electric on the reverse of the shorts.

Meanwhile, Andrews Air Conditioning will run across the top of the back of the shirt following the extension of Andrews Sykes’ partnership with the Addicks.

I know that this is not a direct Nike deal, but even taking that into account, giving them a teamwear catalogue shirt for the Home and a 2-year-old teamwear catalogue shirt for the Away, is pretty poor.

Will certainly form an understated contrast to Charlton's tropical third kit.

The paint splatters don't really add much, can see this working for maybe a training kit, add some orange (or other colour) and it'-) work as one anyway.
