Charlton Athletic have unveiled the club’s new home kit which will be worn during the 2014/15 Championship campaign.
The front of the shirt features the logo of the University of Greenwich, whose new two-year partnership with the club was announced on Monday, while Andrews Air Conditioning will run across the top of the back of the shirt following the extension of Andrews Sykes’ partnership with the Addicks.
For the first time, Charlton will carry a sponsor on the back of their shirt with previous main sponsor Andrews Air Conditioning appearing at the top of the shoulders. In addition, new sponsor Mitsubishi Electric will feature on the reverse of the shorts.
The new red shirt features the latest materials from Nike and features a double chevron design. The shirt also features white sleeves and a red mesh back panel.
The new round-necked design harks back to the popular home top worn between 1964-66 and sported by Valley legends including the likes of Eddie Firmani and Keith Peacock, with a larger amount of white on show than the usual plain red.
