FC Groningen 14/15 Masita Home Football Shirt

Dutch side FC Groningen have unveiled their new Home football shirt, by Masita, to be worn in the 2014-15 season.

Including the classic green and white shirt, the shirt also features the city coat of arms as well as the club crest, with embellishment on the shoulders, a winged collar and sponsor "essent" on the front, with "energy valley" on the back. Spaces are cut out of the stripes to accommodate the sponsors and the name and number printing.

The new shirt - which was designed with the help of fan input - will be worn with the standard white shorts and socks.

Too many sponsors spoil a very nice shirt. Shame really but that's the nature of the beast I suppose

Masita is a Dutch brand that has been around for quite some time. Their kits used to be of a somewhat shoddy quality (fabric-wise), but they rebranded last season, and their kits are splendid now. Clubs get unique and bespoke designs, and things like sponsor logos are woven into the fabric, instead of stickered on. This shirt is a nice refreshing effort, especially since Groningen changes kits each season despite them not changing much.

It'-) be better if you tried to keep to Inter having black stripes on their shirt in some way,
