In the wake of New York City FC announcing a kit deal with adidas - unsurprising in the upcoming context of MLS membership - the side has unveiled their new Home football shirt and kit.
In predictable Manchester City (stablemate) colours of sky blue (actually branded as "City Blue") and white with darker blue details, the neat roundneck collar and cuffs are in white, along with the adidas stripes. The adidas logo, much of the NYC subway token-styled crest and the Etihad Airways sponsor are in the darker blue.
The shorts are white with sky blue stripes, matching the socks which also feature the word "City" - likely to regularly be gracing five-a-side pitches in the Manchester area - to complete an overall look based around the adidas template seen in last summer's World Cup.

New York City FC’s Sporting Director, Claudio Reyna, expressed his excitement "about our first season in MLS and seeing our team wearing [the shirt] on the field.” The understated design, finally, also carries the now signature 2014 curved line on the upper back, with few other concessions to artistic flair.
