This is the new Santos Away shirt, by Nike, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the side's 1984 Brazilian championship victory.
Santos are famous for both their white - now Home - shirts, and their black and white stripes more commonly used in change jerseys. This version carries the latter, slightly thicker than in recent equivalents, along with a subtle roundneck collar and the Nike Swoosh logo in yellow. Further embellishment comes in the form of the numerous sponsors on the sleeves and shoulders - varying in abundance between the players' versions and the fans'.
Combined with the shirt - made from recycled polyester and with its use of Dri-Fit technology to keep the athletes within cool and dry - are black shorts with a slimmer cut than previous styles, and matching black socks.
