Cardiff City revealed the new third adidas kit for the 2015/16 season, as modelled by Bluebirds defender Sean Morrison.

This kit will only be worn when clashes occur between the blue home/red away kit and their opposition host club's home kit.

The third kit will be worn this season only and is supplied for the first team squad alone. It is not available to purchase in retail outlets.

Most expensive kit ever £699 only 4 people who sponsor a player then they get one end of season not on general sale to the public whats the point of that and im a cardiff fan its different i think it sell better than the red shirt

Well I really like it!! I've always been a fan of yellow and black stripes ever since Crystal Palace's 1990 cup final shirt!

Actually, I think its admirable that a club have identified a need for a third kit and won't be trying to cash in on it by putting it on general sale. By giving it only to people who sponsor a player's kit those people are getting something unique for their contribution to the club. All very positive if you ask me.

I get that it's the colours of the Malaysia national team, but if it's not being introduced for sale to supporters, what's the need for this shirt? There shouldn't be a clash this season with the home & away kits available – save for maybe a cup tie at either Dagenham or Palace...

the fact that Malaysia wear yellow and black stripes is purely coincidental, Cardiff City had black and yellow change kits for a while inspired by the St. David's flag (black with yellow/gold cross).

The last 3rd kit before Tan's rebranding exercise was also black and yellow (horrendous kit design) !
