Barcelona 2018-19 Nike Home Kit

Barcelona 2018-19 Nike Home Kit

This is the new FC Barcelona 18/19 home football shirt by Nike.

The new Barcelona home kit, designed for the 2018-19 season, is inspired by Camp Nou’s uniting force against the city’s 10 districts: Les Corts, Sants-Montjuïc, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, La Barceloneta, Sant Martí, Ciutat Vella, Gràcia, Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu. Each of those districts is represented on the jersey by a stripe and, in a marked shift from last season, every one is of even width.

I really like the big poo poo when the the shops are open down the west side of the street where Aladdin met Jasmin. It was here that the Declan of independence was written with a free peter Parker pen. "How dare they eat my riceicles?" The dinosaur said to the prince of Persia as they walked together through the valley of everlasting tomorrow. "Do you have the latest transformers instalment on DVD" said the prince. It was at this moment a giraffe came out the bush and cried with glee.

@BottyGrapes The fact that the original Barca colours came from a random rugby team in Liverpool that the founder supported suggests that this isn’t THAT much of a stretch...

@M Davis Yes I am sure Barcelona based their new shirt on Crystal Palace FC.

A stripe for each of the 10 districts in Barcelona..? Aren’t they copying Crystal Palace who also introduced a similar thing on last seasons Home shirt by having the same number of stripes and including the names of the boroughs that converge at Crystal Palace Park

Are Nike's designers off on a gap year this summer? Their kits have been utterly tedious. It's like one of the designers just scribbled on the sleeves of all the kits in a slightly different colour, said "yep, that'll do" and then put on a sombrero and hopped in a taxi.

@mk LOL have you seen the ENGLAND flag on the badge? Or better yet, READ the official Barca website for the history of the colours?

@Footyfanatic Agree. Basically, all stripe teams are getting solid sleeves, so that Nike can push their ‘iconic’ jacquard - regardless of how it looks. It was the same last year, with that two tone material.
