The new home kit will be worn during the 2019 League of Ireland Premier Division, the top level division in both the League of Ireland and the Republic of Ireland football league system.

It's a great kit, but it looks better in these pictures. What you can't see clearly here is that the red stripes fade into the black towards the bottom, so it loses marks for me as I would have preferred solid red stripes the whole way down.

What I do like is smaller local brands like O'neills continually telling multinational corporations like Adidas to f**k off. O'neills have been around since 1918, predating Adidas by 6 years, and have been using the three stripes for just as long.
