Charlton Athletic’s new, 90s inspired away kit for the 18/19 season has been revealed.
The white Hummel shirt takes its influence from the club’s change strip which was worn during the 1994/95 and 1995/96 seasons and features bold, red and black stripes.
2018/19’s iteration is reversed with the stripes running vertically and a cross-over pattern at the centre of the badge. It also sees a return of the Addicks’ famous crest to the middle of the chest on a shirt for the first time since 2008/09.

The hummel kit was chosen following consultation with a number of fan groups, who identified the mid-90s strip, which was worn by the likes of Lee Bowyer, as being particularly popular with supporters, leading the kit manufacturer to use it as inspiration for the new strip.
