Plymouth Argyle 18/19 Puma Home Kit

Plymouth Argyle 18/19 Puma Home Kit

Plymouth Argyle's new Puma home kit for next season is a green and black vertical striped shirt, trimmed with a white V-neck collar and cuffs. The 2018-19 strip is completed by white shorts, with black trim, and plain white socks.

The shirt colours hark back to the very formation of the football club that eventually became Plymouth Argyle, with green and black being worn from 1886-1901 in various styles.

The shirt will again carry the name of the club’s main sponsors, Ginsters, with a black and white logo of the Westcountry-based savoury pasty manufacturers.

Green stripes , Just a little too dark for me. Will have problems picking each other out when playing under floodlights. As been proven in the past.

Socks and shorts both far too long, makes their knees look like baked potatoes which is at odds with the Ginsters sponsor who, as far as I know, do not sell potatoes (other than as part of a pastie, so yes I suppose you could say there's a link but it's tenuous at best).
Other than that, couldn't be happier.

    Dark green/black shirt.

..then white shorts and socks :o

..and that collar is from last seasons Puma template for various clubs.

Mmmmm you may have a point about the amount of white, looks like the club decided "let's go retro" the lost faith and then thought let's have some up to date white shorts and socks, mmmmm and you'd better throw some white onto the shirts too, else it would look silly. :o:p

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Was going to be a nice shirt from Puma but there is way way to much white in the overall kit design, it takes away from the retro stripped shirts and now looks like a thrown together vanarama team kit. Bet their supporters are fuming so close but so so far away.

    Bad luck Plymouth supporters :(:(:(:(:(

Classy kit from Puma with a retro feel. Nice touch by Ginsters to drop the red blob logo. Well done Argyle.
