Southampton 2018-19 Under Armour Third Kit

Southampton 2018-19 Under Armour Third Kit

Southampton FC launched its brand new Under Armour third kit for the 18/19 season.

The new kit is the latest addition to the Under Armour stable, with the designs for this season’s home and away editions having been revealed last month.

The third shirt offers a twist on the classic-style home version, integrating a darker tone of red that retains the feel of the club’s traditional stripes, while it is offset by a smart, black trim.

It can be coupled with either the home shorts and socks, or a change version of red shorts and white socks.

Designed in Under Armour’s Innovation Lab, the new kit also incorporates the company’s renowned HeatGear fabric and a Moisture Transport System, allowing players to stay dry even in the toughest of conditions.

As a Saints fan, I really can't see the point of this.

But why??? The home and away mix doesn't clash with any other team, unless they get drawn against QPR or Reading in the cup.

I am sure Mr Kruger will answer these and many more questions at the fans' forum, where Saints fans will feel valued and respected in a spirit of inclusivity and engagement. I also think Saints will sign a striker as a matter of priority, that Les Reed has shown excellent judgement in all his transfer dealings, that it represents sound business sense to have £42m of signings playing for someone else on loan, and that Donald Trump is a misunderstood all round good egg and that sarcasm is the highest form of wit.

They had a home kit like this a few years back ..this could pass as a home kit.

    Pointless!

Living in an age of 3rd kits and Manufacturers not doing research. If they made an away kit that doesn't require a 3rd kit in the first place. Yet in this instance the 3rd clashes with the home??? 2 kits are more than enough. If it so happens you draw a team in the cup, surely the manufacturers could quickly rustle up a template just for the occasion for the players. Not charge fans £60 for a pointless shirt

This joins many others pointless 3rd kits. Again, like many other teams, the 3rd kit could pass as the home kit. Crock of s*i* really

Bad enough that they don't really need a third kit, but that is b*o*d* awful.

@Bowie I'm Saints too. Ditto can't see the point. Further evidence, if it were needed that no one at the club seems to know what they are doing. Perhaps Mr Kruger can explain?
