West Ham United 2018-19 Umbro Third Kit

West Ham United 2018-19 Umbro Third Kit

West Ham United’s new 18/19 Umbro Third kit has been revealed.

The Hammers have taken inspiration from the Club’s first-ever Third kit, which was worn by Billy Bonds’ 1992/93 promotion-winning side.

The new Third kit pays homage to Bonds’ record-breakers, as a squad starring the likes of Trevor Morley, Clive Allen, Ian Bishop, Alvin Martin and Julian Dicks amassed a historic 88 points to reach the Premier League for the first time in West Ham history.

The eye-catching 2018/19 shirt features a light grey shirt complete with diagonal claret and blue graphics across both shoulders and a matching crest featuring sky blue piping and claret crossed hammers and wording.

The look is completed with light grey shorts featuring the same claret and blue graphic detail and sky blue socks.

One need not be kitted by any one of the Top Three brands to feel privileged. Umbro has scored yet another hit for WHU this season.

To say inspired is going a bit far. The 91-92 3rd kit was white, not grey, yeah it had the chevrons on the shoulder, but also right across the chest. Inspired? More like a long distance wave from the back of the OS to the centre circle....
