The San Jose Earthquakes have officially unveiled their new Home Jersey for the 2019 MLS season.

The adidas-made Unity Jersey is primarily black, with an all-blue chest that features alternating impact patterns and blue stripes on the shoulders. The jersey also has an ‘SJ74’ jock tag and a back neck line that reads ‘Forward As One’ to symbolize the singularity between the club, fanbase and local community.

Above the team crest are two silver stars, representing San Jose’s MLS Cup championships in 2001 and 2003, while both sleeves possess Quakes-colored MLS logos. The inside of the neck has a red strip as a nod to the team’s red kits during the North American Soccer League era more than 40 years ago.

The top is made with a lighter, more breathable fabric than recent years. It also includes black shorts and black and blue socks that read ‘Unity’ across the shins. Numbers on the back of the shirt and the front of the shorts are both white.

Nipple rub?

Horrible stitched part ruins the kit. Laughable compared to Nike technology.
