This is the new, 2015-16 season Ajax of Amsterdam Away football shirt and kit, by adidas.
In luminous green with white trim (adidas stripes, V-neck collar, badges and sponsor's logo), the sleeve cuffs are "poppable" and reveal the black and red colouring of the flag of Amsterdam, complete with Andreas crosses on the left sleeve.
The effect of this quirk is to evoke the captain's armband, supposedly to give players and supporters alike a sense of their responsibility to team, club and city, and the flag colours are echoed on the hem.
