Club Sport Herediano of Costa Rica recently launched their 2015 Umbro football shirts.
In the famous red and gold, the home shirt is primarily the latter, with interspersing thin red stripes which fade out towards the bottom. In the background are thin, tonal horizontal stripes and the neat black collar, black cuffs and thick hem have matching white. The players’ shirts are further embellished with, some might say, excessive branding through sponsorship contracts.
Finishing off the effect are red shorts and socks - which may also appear with the Away or Third shirts - and Herediano have also released green and orange goalkeeper kits.

The new primary change shirt is white with grey vertical stripes - fading lower down and bordered with a darker grey - and these are divided up with horizontal tonal chalkstripes. The collar and cuffs match in red and the embroidered Umbro logo - with wordmark - is also in red.
Below the waist, the shorts and socks are in matching white, creating a stark effect at first glance.
The third shirt, comprising the famous gold and red along with a prominent base colour of black, is striped on the body with watermarked horizontal laddering. The sleeves are solid black with minimal trim on the cuffs. The low profile standup collar is white, housed in black and there is a white band at the bottom too.
Completing the look, the kit comes with black shorts and socks, providing a strong contrast on occasions when the team is required to change.
