Galatasaray 15/16 Nike Third Kit

Nike and Galatasaray unveiled the latest addition to its 2015-16 kit collection, which fuses the club’s traditional red and yellow hues into a vibrant shade of red.

The bold new look symbolizes the unification of Galatasaray’s deep-rooted heritage with forward-thinking play and innovation – and the bravery of the players with the passion of the fans.

This new away kit will provide the club’s players with a powerful and commanding appearance for some of their most important 2015-16 international matches.

A black ombré graphic accentuates the striking red, blending from the cuffs of the short and shirt. During night games, this effect serves to accentuate the players’ physical presence underneath the floodlights. The shirt, which is finished with modern crew neck collar, also proudly displays the club crest, crowned by four gold stars symbolizing Galatasaray’s 20 Turkish league titles.

Last season's Nike teams all had the same template for the third kit but in different colour schemes. Nike are doing exactly the same this season. No-one can accuse them of lacking consistency. Genius!

Funny, this would actually look good if it was a bespoke kit specifically for Galatasaray. On it's own it looks very cool, but as it is it's a lazy copy and paste template now being used by about every team in Europe with Nike kits.

I'm over these Nike kits. I've seen enough of this style.
