Hull City 15/16 Umbro Third Kit

The Tigers have revealed their new blueprint and scuba blue third strip which Hull City will wear during the 2015/16 season.

The lightweight Umbro change shirt which will be worn by the Tigers on the road features a stand-up collar with a rib insert and two scuba blue printed stripes on the front of the jersey. The micro eyelet fabric aids ventilation.

As with the Club’s home and away shirts, the third jersey features a ‘TIGERS’ sign-off on the back neck area in recognition of the Club’s famous nickname.

Alongside the shirt, the blueprint shorts have a tailored silhouette with a reduced volume waistband for optimum fit and comfort, along with a mesh back yoke for ventilation.

Completing the kit, blueprint socks with a scuba blue trim have an ergonomic fit for optimum comfort and a double welt cuff to ensure the sock retains its smart fit.

The Tigers are expected to wear the third kit for the first time when they face Bristol City next month.

I guess it's cool. There's nothing wrong with it, per se, but it's an interesting kit for a team whose colors are orange and black. But then again I guess that's the point of a 3rd kit. :-?

I personally think that pairing the black home shorts with the white away shirt & socks would look very smart and provide enough contrast with red/white/red kits; but this is fine too.

It looks like a goalkeeper kit from FIFA 2001
