Paris Saint-Germain 15/16 Nike Home Football Shirt

Paris Saint-Germain unveiled the new 15/16 Home football shirt by Nike.

This new design from Nike Football combines Paris Saint-Germain’s celebrated home colors of blue, red and white, respectively representing the club’s core values of grandeur, respect and passion.

The home shirt features a navy blue body with Paris Saint-Germain’s instantly recognizable red sport stripe. The updated stripe — widened with white trim on either side — runs the full length of the shirt, down the center from a new, clean crewneck collar.

Dark blue shoulders and sleeves create a powerful and physically imposing look, with stripes in this color running down each of the shirt’s flanks.

The shorts also feature a dark blue hue, complemented by a traditional navy stripe on each side.

Inside the neck reads the proud club statement, “ICI C’EST PARIS” (“Here it’s Paris”). These three words evoke Paris Saint-Germain’s status within the French capital and pay homage to the club’s Parc des Princes home — a stadium that represents the heart of Paris’s football culture.

The new home socks are predominantly navy, featuring a series of darker blue chevrons on the back of the calf.

Don't like the fact that the logo colour (light blue) does not match the shirt colour (dark and darker blue).. my guess is next year the shirt will be a light blue...

Don't like it when sponsors logos interfere with stripes etc..

    Other than that it's alright.

Ah, it's nice to see a jersey that reminds me of the days of Pauleta and Ronaldinho. With a bit of luck, their jerseys will get lighter in colour and it'll be like the days of Rai and Djorkaeff.

They should have made the red stripe wider like PSG shirts of old.

The aim of qatarian is to change the club step by step : the logo (Big Paris, Little St Germain), a bit blue, a bit dark blue...
Colar seems to be not finished.

The two shades of blue actually really works here. It adds more dimension to a shirt that would otherwise be sort of plain (not that that's a bad thing because the traditional PSG shirt is one of the best in the world). But it works so well because the shorts are that darker shade of blue as well, which ties the look together. Subtle but very, very nice.

Not convinced by the two-tone trend sweeping footy kits at the moment. Can't help but think it'd look nicer with a single shade of blue.

Nice to see the more traditional stripe back! Not sure about the sleeves though

Slowly but surely it's getting back to something that resembles PSG.
