San Jose Earthquakes unveiled their new white away shirt with pops of reds which harkens back to the club's old days in the North American Soccer League from 1974-1984.
Another reminder of just how far back the club was born shows up in the jock tag featuring an "SJ74" on the lower left corner of the shirt and the words "San Jose 1974" on the neck tape.
On the back of the jersey the word "Quakes" is embossed on the lower half under the name and number. And as in the case of the other nine charter clubs in MLS who have been around since the very first year in 1996, the Quakes will also be carrying a "Founding Team" patch on the inside of the jersey underneath the club badge.
