Birmingham City 16/17 Adidas Home Kit

Birmingham City FC revealed the home shirt for the 2016/17 Season.

The kit is courtesy of the Club’s new Official Technical Kit Supplier, adidas, and will be the first of a long-term partnership.

The deal sees Blues proudly reunited with the global sportswear brand after 33 years apart since the late 70s, when the likes of the great Trevor Francis graced St. Andrew’s.

For the home kit, the Boys in Blue will be wearing a classic blue shirt with white detailing featuring a new side adidas three stripe execution. The shirt will be accompanied by blue shorts and blue socks.

Love it. Don't care what it looks like as long as it's blue

Our new home shirt baffles me......[/quote]

Me too. Year after year we seem to go for a 'creative twist'... wish they'd just give simplicity a go for a season or two.

Nothing at all against Brum but this is just a bland t shirt. I echo what others have said: bring back the vertical band!

I'm guessing there wasn't a shirt like that in the teamwear catalog.

Over the course of the club's life, the Birmingham home shirt has traditionally been all blue. The white band (or similar) has only been used sporadically over the years, and a bit more recently. It's a bit like Boro's white chest band - more often than not the Boro shirt has been plain red. But the white band certainly gives the shirts a bit more identity.

Not impressed with this at all.Birmingham should have a central white panel. That it what sets their kits apart from main stream. A central white panel would also have helped make my monster mamories look even more impressive.
